These tubes are designed for use with a separate oscillator, as the first detector in superheterodyne radio receivers. Part of hundreds of thousands of 'Lend-lease' parts shipped to Europe during World War II, these pristine 6L7 tubes are handpainted with individual serial numbers, dated 1940 or 1941, and stamped K.T.A. with cross symbol.
